He has also won several prizes, including Salem prize in 2000, Boscher Memorial Prize from American mathematical society, and clay research award in 2003. He became the youngest gold medalist in the mathematical olympiad. He has won bronze, silver, and gold medals in three consecutive years, 1986, 1987, 1988.
